Project Overview
Refurbishment and fit-out of a commercial office space in Saltire Court to accommodate KPMG Offices. The project was delivered in three phases, including internal alterations undertaken at third floor level to remove an existing concrete column and create a refurbished space for KPMG to occupy.
In addition, the refurb included a new glazed meeting room which projected into the Atrium. The external balcony area was upgraded, with a new floor, to make the area more usable.
We have a history of involvement on this site and are familiar with the original structural arrangement, which has enabled our team to make recommendations on engineering solutions based on our previous work.
The Challenge
Live site necessitated management.
Our Solution
Dust and noise issues were closely monitored as the building remained live throughout the phased works. This also included methodologies being agreed for how debris should be removed from the area of work out through live areas
