Cot Farm, Newport

Cot Farm, Newport

A major housing development as part of the wider regeneration of Ringland in Newport.

Housing - Wales

Project Overview

The Cot Farm development provides 56 new homes, 26 two- and three-bedroom homes and 30 one- and two-bedroom apartments on land at Hendre Farm Drive. A number of existing empty maisonettes were demolished to make way for the new housing. Cot Farm is part of the wider master plan and redevelopment of Ringland, Newport.

Working closely with Newport City Homes, Pentan Architects and Powell Dobson (via the masterplan), the project aims to provide homes that are fit-for-life now and into the future with particular emphasis on exploring better quality apartment living with generous terraces, balconies and storage for each resident. A number of apartment configurations have been utilised to ensure that there is a home suitable for every need, from ground floor accessible apartments to 2-bedroom, 4-person, duplex apartments.
